First graders may check out four books, and students in grades 2-5 have unlimited checkout if all materials have been returned.

Kindergarten students visit the media center for a 25-minute class once a week. The goal of this time is to encourage and promote literacy. Students also learn the media center procedures and book care. Kindergarteners check out one book a week.

The media center has open checkout during all school hours. Students may exchange library books on any day of the week, regardless of their regular checkout day.
