Backpack Program
The Backpack Program provides food on the weekends for CHS students who qualify through the counseling office. Backpacks are distributed weekly and provide supplemental food for families in need.
Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers are an essential part of the backpack program. Individuals can assist with either packing on Friday mornings, sorting, stocking, or providing food donations periodically throughout the year. Please sign up either on the PTO website or contact one of the coordinators listed below.
Financial Donations
Individuals can financially contribute to the program by donating through the PTO website with the Backpack Program button or writing a check to CHS PTO with Backpack Program in the memo section. Money is used to purchase fresh fruit on a weekly basis and to restock needed items. To make a financial donation, please click the link here or click the donate button at the upper right.
