What is Gradfest?
For almost 30 years, Gradfest has been a tradition at CHS. Gradfest is a celebration for all graduating seniors and will take place at CHS the evening of graduation. The celebration for the 2015-2016 school year will take place on May 26, 2016 from 10:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. This event is free for all graduating seniors. There will be numerous carnival games to play, food and prizes for everyone! Last year over 80% of the seniors attended. In the past, students have enjoyed winning printers, TVs, refrigerators, gift cards, cash, university t-shirts and other quality gifts!
How can you support Gradfest?
One of the primary goals of Gradfest is to provide a safe and supervised environment for graduates to enjoy a celebration with their friends. This event is sponsored by the PTO Gradfest Committee, local businesses and parents of CHS students. Without your help, this graduation memory cannot occur.
Donate: We encourage a $25 donation from each family with a senior student, although any amount is welcome and not required for admission to Gradfest. If you would like to donate, please forward all tax-deductible donations, made payable to “PTO-Gradfest”, to PTO-Gradfest, Carmel High School, 520 E. Main, Carmel, IN 46032. Donations may also be made online under the PTO Payment link on the main PTO page.
If you own or work for a company that would be interested in contributing to the success of Gradfest, please consider making a tax-deductible corporate donation today. Please contact Kathleen Roop at 753-2425 or at email@example.com for additional information on becoming a corporate sponsor.
Volunteer: If you would like to volunteer as a Committee Member or work at the Gradfest event please click the Sign Up Genius link http://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0f4eadab2aab9-carmel or contact Sarah Spencer at 869-8848 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Shifts the night of gradfest run 1st shift 9:30 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. and 2nd shift 11:00 p.m. - 1:00 a.m. Volunteers help with games, refreshments and prizes. Please take advantage of the opportunity to be with your kids and their friends at CHS one last time! (Parents of juniors are also encouraged to volunteer!)
Purchase a Screen Shot Ad: To show how proud you are of your senior, send a short message and/or a picture of congratulations to be displayed on the BIG pull down screen at Gradfest. Purchase CHS Spirit Wear: The Gradfest committee sells Greyhound spirit wear during registration and at the PTO open house. You can also shop for spirit gear online here. Some items can also be purchased in the CHS Book Store during school hours. All proceeds benefit Gradfest. (Please note that this is separate from the Greyhound Spirit wear store at CHS.)
