The greenhouse is located on the third floor of the A building at the west end of campus.  It is primarily used by Biology II and Botany students for inquiry lab activities, plant cultures, plant conservatory, plant anatomy and physiology projects.  The plants are a variety of exotic plants, garden and home plants, and cacti.

Planetarium and Observatory

The Planetarium is located in the east end of Carmel High School.  Approximately 15,000 come to the Planetarium each year through public programs or classes.  The facility seats 56 people providing the viewer with a relaxing environment to view the simulated night sky. The GOTO Chronos simulator has an ECCS automation system which controls cove lights, slide projectors, video projector, laser disk, DVD, and special effects.  Audio and video workstations are used for student projects and planetarium programs. We are a member of the Great Lakes Planetarium Association and International Planetarium Society.  The Planetarium director is Keith Turner
