Key Club is the oldest and largest service program for high school students. What makes Key Club so successful is the fact that it is a student-led organization that teaches leadership through serving others. The Key Club chapter at Carmel High School consists of over 500 members who are striving to make a difference in the community. Key Club members volunteer at elementary school carnivals, visit retirement homes, clean up parks, volunteer at Chaucie’s Place, help out at many other community events (Easter egg hunts, fish fries…), and plan donation drives that have benefited soldiers in Afghanistan, underprivileged children, and local families in need. During the 2009 - 2010 school year, Carmel Key Club members donated a total of 12,239 hours! Email carmelkeyclub@gmail.com if you have questions, comments or suggestions.
