Congratulations on your families’ decision to be involved with Clay Middle School’s cross country program. Your son or daughter only needs to purchase their uniform if they do not already have one from previous years. Please know that we will be using the same uniform for track as well to help families get the most out of their purchase.
All shorts and tops are adult sizes and are similar to normal T-shirt and gym short sizes.

2019 Summer Runs
Clay summer runs will begin on Monday, June 17th 2018 and end on Wednesday, July 31st 2019. There will be a workout every Monday and Wednesday except Wednesday, July 3rd. All workouts will be from 6:30 - 7:30.
Mondays - River Road Park (126th and River Road).
Wednesdays - Northview Church (E. Main and Hazel Dell)
All runners must have an athletic physical and consent on file in order to participate after July 1. ***ALL PHYSICALS MUST BE SIGNED BY THE MD or DO, PHYSICIAN ASST, OR NURSE PRACTITIONER. STAMPED SIGNATURES WILL NO LONGER BE VALID***
Once your runner has a physical and consent on file at Clay, he/she can participate for the July meetings.

2019 Cross Country Season Info
First Week of Practice: Monday, August 12th - Saturday, August 17th
Monday - 3:30-5:00 (Drop off and pick up at door 5)
Tuesday - Friday - 3:30-5:00 (after school)
Saturday - Optional Practice 8:00-9:00am (Meet at door 5)
**All athletes must participate in 10 practices before running in a meet. The 10 practices will be counted starting on August 12th, 2019. There are 13 total practices before the first meet so all runners should start practice on Monday, August 12th in order to complete at least 10 practices.**
***All athletes must have a physical and consent on file in order to participate in practices and meets***
