THANK YOU to the parents who volunteered for Clay Challenge 3K event!!!  It was a morning of nice weather, a fun 3K walk/run, DJ music, karate activities and a special presentation by guest speaker Whitey Kapsalis.  Also, thank you to those parents who helped organize and distribute the Clay Trojan t-shirts for each student!  The school staff appreciated the hard work by all.

Otis Spunkmeyer Delivery Day - at least 20 volunteers needed!  Please consider helping out

*OPEN position* - PTO is still in need of a Concessions Director!  This person would work with the Athletic Director, John Corcoran, to arrange concession stand volunteers for home sport events.  Please contact Jen Pletcher at if you are interested in learning more.

Otis Spunkmeyer Cookie Dough Fundraiser has been a HUGE success - thank you for your support!  Winning teams are 6-1 (Titans), 7-3 (Apollo), and 8-2 (Revolutionaries).  They all earned Cookie Parties that will happen during Core Plus on Sept 26th (6-1), 28th (7-3), and 30th (8-2).  Specific thanks and congratulations to those winning teams!

Trojan Trot 5K walk/run is on Saturday, September 17th at 8:30am.  This is a family/community event that helps raise funds for Clay athletics and activities and is run by school staff. 

* Save the date! * Ghosts & Goblins 5K/2K - Saturday, October 22, 2016Presented by the CEF (Carmel Education Foundation), it is a fundraising event to benefit the Carmel Clay schools through education grants.  On line registration at  Be sure to select "Clay Middle School" as the school of each participant even if it's a non-student (extended family members and/or friends).

The Hamilton County Coat Drive is the first week of October, not the end.  Boxes will be located at Clay Middle October 3rd-7th.  Please have your student drop off gently used jackets, winter clothes, hats or mittens in the boxes near front lobby during this week.
