All volunteers for Carmel Clay Schools are required to have a criminal background check, done through a vendor that was selected and approved by Carmel Clay Schools. Please click on the link above and fill out the information requested so that a criminal background check can be performed (**NOTE - This site requires the use of Internet Explorer). Your child’s school administration will be contacted when the criminal background report is complete. If you have children who attend multiple schools in Carmel, you only need one criminal background report, however you will need to notify all schools where you wish to volunteer, that you have a criminal history check on file. Background checks are good for five school years and there is a $33.00 fee.
During the 2013 legislative session, in regard to Bullying Prevention and Intervention in Indiana, the General Assembly passed HEA 1423 and the Governor signed P.L. 285-2013 into law. This law requires all staff and VOLUNTEERS to be educated about bullying and its prevention. All volunteers are required to complete this training annually.
