Day 11

I learned the shuttle was launched (sometime during the nighttime, here in Japan). We have to be up early and on our way so we can see the elementary children coming to school The kids have practiced their greetings and this is quite a big deal.

I am only putting one word notes here, as there is so much to write and I must meet my colleagues in just a few minutes for a late dinner.

I will work on this later, but here are some teasers: slippers, on and off, the principal, the band, the yellow hats, the schedule, what do they do, the lunch menu, the disaster drill, the earthquake, the earthquake at 5 on the Richter scale, the English lesson, the lunch with students, being called on, the interview on the cable network and more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay I have got to run. I have got to go catch a train and then meet up with everyone, if I can (I’ll take my dictionary and subway schedule just in case!).

Posting this at 6:00pm (that’s 13 hours ahead of people in Indiana)!
