7th Grade Football


It is a policy of the Carmel Clay Schools that no athlete will be permitted to use his/her own safety equipment consisting of helmets and shoulder pads. The equipment will be issued by the Carmel Clay Schools.

Practice Schedule

Practice will begin on Monday, July 31st!  (Meet in the Creekside cafeteria)

Monday July 31st through Friday, August 4th - 5-7pm

Monday, August 7th - 3-5pm

Tuesday, August 8th through Friday, August 11th - 5-7pm

Monday, August 14th - no practice

Tuesday, August 15th through the end of the season - practice immediately after school

Carmel High School Camp Equipment Distribution Dates

If you will be a 6th, 7th, or 8th grade student at Creekside Middle School during the 2017-2018 school year and are participating in any of the Carmel High School Summer Football Camp from (http://www1.ccs.k12.in.us/chs/carmelgreyhounds/chs-athletic-camps)  July 17th - July 20th, please pick up helmet and shoulder pads on the dates/times below at the Creekside football storage garage (tan building next to football field):

Thursday, June 22nd from 5-6pm


Thursday, July 6th from 5-6pm

For safety reasons, players must be present to try on equipment.

All other students planning to play football in the fall who are not attending the CHS summer camp from July 18th - July 21st, you will receive your equipment during the first week of practice.

Parent Meeting

The football parent meeting is set for Tuesday, August 22nd at 5:30PM in the Creekside auditorium.  Mr. Hartog will talk to all fall sports' parents before each team will split into their individual team meetings.  Please make every attempt to have at least one parent at this very important meeting.
