8th Grade Football

Football Safety Equipment Information

 ATTENTION FOOTBALL PLAYERS AND PARENTS.....

It is a policy of the Carmel Clay Schools that no athlete will be permitted to use his/her own safety equipment consisting of helmets and shoulder pads. The equipment will be issued by the Carmel Clay Schools.

1st Week of Practice

Practice will begin on Monday, July 30th from 6-8 PM!  (Meet in the Creekside cafeteria)

Practice from Monday, July 30th to Friday, August 3rd will be from 6-8 PM

No Practice Monday, August 6th

Practice Tuesday, August 7th to Friday, August 10th will be 6-8 PM

Monday, August 13th through the end of the season - practice will be immediately after school

 

 

If you will be a 6th, 7th, or 8th grade student at Creekside Middle School during the 2018-2019 school year and are participating in any of the Carmel High School Summer Football Camps from (http://www1.ccs.k12.in.us/chs/carmelgreyhounds/chs-athletic-camps)  in July, please pick up helmet and shoulder pads on the dates/times below at the Creekside football storage garage (tan building next to football field):

Thursday, June 21st, 2018 from 5-6pm

or

Thursday, July 5th, 2018 from 5-6pm

For safety reasons, players must be present to try on equipment.

All other students planning to play football in the fall who are not attending the CHS summer camps in July you will receive your equipment during the first week of practice.

Parent Meeting

The football parent meeting is set for TBD in the Creekside auditorium.  Mr. Hartog will talk to all fall sports' parents before each team will split into their individual team meetings.  Please make every attempt to have at least one parent at this very important meeting.
