The Carmel Clay Schools offers a comprehensive K-12 arts program. Every elementary student in grades K-5 takes both art and music once per week on average. At the three middle schools, all students take a music class, either general music or a performance-based course, including choir, orchestra or band. The middle school art experience includes elective courses such as mixed media, drawing and painting and ceramics and sculpture.
Carmel High School continues the district's tradition of excellence in the arts by offering outstanding performing and visual arts programs for all students. From orchestra to marching band to ceramics to weaving, high school students are provided a broad range of exciting opportunities for participation in the arts.
