Project
Nine Carmel High School (CHS) students are working under the guidance of artists from the Arts & Design District to paint five Adirondack chairs that were manufactured by students in CHS manufacturing department.
Finished chairs will be displayed in each artist’s gallery during the June 9 Gallery Walks (5-9pm), where community members will vote on the best chair.
All student artists will receive gift bags with Arts & Design District Mershandise and a free beignets card from Mudbugs.
The winning chair/student(s) will receive $300 from the Arts & Design District sponsors (Edward Jones) and a 2-hour painting class at the French Bleu Gallery with artist Susan Mauck.
The runner-up will receive 2 $25 gift certificates to the Artisan Masterpiece and a $25 gift certificate to the Simply Sweet Shoppe.
All other participants will enjoy cakes decorated with an Adirondack chair on it from Rascia's Bakery and tea from Teabuds.
