A rigorous, well-aligned and articulated K-12 curriculum, use of research-based instructional strategies, and a comprehensive assessment system support our high expectations for student learning. To ensure quality instructional programming, Carmel Clay Schools engages in an on-going, extensive process to evaluate the impact and effectiveness of these components on student achievement. As a result, data are used to guide system-wide curricular and programmatic decisions as well as instructional planning for individual students. The system supports a variety of research-based interventions as well as a plethora of opportunities for students to apply higher order thinking skills to ensure that each and every student maximizes his or her potential.
