Our mission:

Welcome to Carmel Clay Schools Food and Nutrition web site. Our mission is to provide nutritionally balanced meals according to the National School Lunch, Breakfast and After School Snack Programs, at a reasonable cost to students, staff and guests, while providing nutrition education and promoting the school corporation’s wellness policy. Nutrition and learning go hand in hand! A hungry child cannot learn. Carmel Clay Schools strive to provide nutritious, child focused meals that comply with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Dietary Guidelines for Americans. To assure we are providing the best meals possible, all our menus are analyzed by a Registered Dietitian.

Parents have the option to pay for lunch using one of three methods.  Students may deposit any amount of money into their account by cash or a check made out to Carmel Clay Schools Food Service (CCSFS) at their school cafeteria. Students may also pay by cash daily at the register. In addition, the mylunchmoney.com web site is now available for parents who want to deposit money into their child’s account via the internet at https://www.mylunchmoney.com/. Once parents have set up their account with mylunchmoney.com, they can check it at anytime. Deposits utilizing this service have a nominal cost of $1.95 per deposit. Families with two children in the same school building can deposit into both children’s accounts for the $1.95 fee. Parents selecting the NO ala carte option should understand that this means no extra milk, entrée, juice, etc., along with no extra "snack/dessert" items. Account balances remaining at the end of the school year will stay in the students account and will be available for use the following year.
