How do I create a myCCS account?

Which type of account are you trying to create?

  • Parent
  • Student
  • Staff: Your account was automatically created when your email was set up.

I forgot my username / I am getting an error that my username is wrong.

Parent Accounts - Ensure that you're using your full email address, including the @ symbol.  yourname@gmail.com

Student Accounts - first and last name only. yourname

Staff Accounts - same as your network login

How do I add children to my myCCS account?

  • Log in to myCCS.
  • Click on the Account Settings link.
  • Click on Edit Account; in the dropdown menu select Add a Student or look for a widget called "Add Student"

You will need to know your child's student ID number. This can be acquired from your child's report card or from your building secretary if you do not know it.

I’ve changed my email address. How do I update my email on myCCS?

I’ve found errors in the data on myCCS, such as a wrong birthdate, misspellings, etc. What do I do?

Contact your building secretary to have the data entry errors corrected in our student database (PowerSchool).

How do I update my child's medical information?

  • Log in to myCCS.
  • Click the Update my contact information link, which can be found on the myContact Info widget.
  • Click the Current Student button.
  • Click the Go to Registration button at the bottom of the screen.
  • Click the Medical Update link.
  • Click the Next button to go through and verify all of the medical forms and make any necessary changes before clicking Submit.

How do I update emergency contact information?

  • Log in to myCCS.
  • Click the Update my contact information link, which can be found on the myContact Info widget.
  • Click the Current Student button.
  • Click the Go to Registration button at the bottom of the screen.
  • Click the Emergency Information link.
  • Click the Next button to go through and verify all emergency contacts, including doctor information and make any necessary changes before clicking Submit.

What if I have more than one myCCS account, can I consolidate them?

If you accidentally created two accounts and need to consolidate to get all of your children on one account, email myccs@ccs.k12.in.us for help.

In the email, please include the two account usernames and the following information about your children:

  • Names
  • Dates of birth
  • Student ID numbers
