Layla Spanenberg

"My involvement with Carmel Clay Schools began when my first child started kindergarten. In an effort to enhance his learning experience, I immediately became active in the schools and started attending school board meetings to fully understand how the district functioned. I became more deeply involved on a school level and then on a district level. Optimizing the educational experience and school atmosphere for our entire Carmel Clay School family has been the driving force behind my involvement in our schools.   I feel very fortunate for the opportunity to serve our children, professional educators and fellow Carmel residents on the school board."  Layla Spanenberg
