Mohawk Trails Giving Tree

What is it?

The purpose of the Giving Tree is to enhance the educational facilities and opportunities for students at Mohawk Trails Elementary School.

The Giving Tree gives parents, grandparents and friends a great way to show their support.

The Giving Tree allows you to make a tax-deductible donation that directly benefits your child and his/her classroom.

How does it work?

Teachers request educational supplies for his/her classroom.

You can view the items listed on the Teacher Request List (click on the link on the right).

You may select an item to fund and submit payment (cash or check made payable to Mohawk Trails PTO), along with the Giving Tree Request Fulfillment Form (link on the right), and send it through backpack mail in a sealed envelope marked Giving Tree.  The Teacher is reimbursed for their purchase by the PTO with the money you donated.

A leaf will be placed on the Giving Tree in the school’s main lobby to recognize your contribution.

You will receive a thank you note which serves as your receipt for tax purposes.
