We love celebrating the diversity at Orchard Park Elementary. We have over 30 languages spoken. The International Festival gives students the opportunity to share their culture and traditions with the rest of the school.

Friday, November 3, 2017, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Click HERE for detailed information about the International Festival

This family event is on a Friday evening and celebrates the cultures of our student body through music, dance, food, and recreation.  Grade levels perform songs or musical pieces, and families visit various booths set up throughout the school.

Interested in hosting a booth? Families are provided with a table, chairs, and up to $50 reimbursed to cover expenses.  Booths can feature cultural symbols, maps, games, photos, traditions, snacks...anything you would like to share!

Click here to sign up to host a booth.

Background Check

Every adult who works with any child at school (in the classroom, on a field trip, in the media center, class parties, etc.) must have a criminal background check on file and must watch a short video on bullying.  The criminal background check is good for 5 years and is $31.50.  Please contact the OPE office at 848-1918 or hmullins@ccs.k12.in.us to register for one.

Important!

All doors are locked during the day including the front doors. You will need to be given the green light to come in from the front office.

Every time you enter OPE you  must stop and receive a visitor's badge in the office.  You will first need to "buzz in" at the double entry doors.  ALL guests will wear a visitor badge while in the building and then check out when leaving.  If you have not had your driver's license scanned, please come by the office anytime to do so.  This will save you time for future visits.
