Media Center

Smoky Row Media Center Goals

The library media program strives to create and support an environment in which all learners become effective users of ideas and information and achieve the standards set by the state of Indiana and Carmel Clay Schools.

The Goals of the Library Media Program are to:

  • cultivate a love of reading,

  • provide a broad range of quality resources to support the curriculum and to support recreational reading interests,

  • teach students to become effective and ethical users of print and electronic information,

  • and to encourage all students to become lifelong learners.

“You can find magic wherever you look. Sit back and relax all you need is a book!”

Read! Read! Read this summer! You are invited to share your love of reading with all of the Rockets at Smoky Row. Have someone take a picture of you reading a book while you are on vacation this summer and then bring back the bottom portion of the paper linked below to the media center during the month of August. You will then be a part of our media center bulletin board – showing everyone how much you love to read and relax with a book here at Smoky Row! Happy Reading & See You in August, Mrs. Towle
