The Smoky Row Media Center serves over 650 students and staff with a collection of over 22,000 books, DVDs, magazines, audio books, and equipment.  There are sixteen computers available for online catalog searches, information retrieval, and student projects.  The media center is always a BYOD, bring your own device, setting where students are encouaged to use devices to read and access educational information.

Smoky Row Media Center Goals

The library media program strives to create and support an environment in which all learners become effective users of ideas and information and achieve the standards set by the state of Indiana and Carmel Clay Schools.

The Goals of the Library Media Program are to:

  • cultivate a love of reading,

  • provide a broad range of quality resources to support the curriculum and to support recreational reading interests,

  • teach students to become effective and ethical users of print and electronic information,

  • and to encourage all students to become lifelong learners.
