Latin II Placement Exam

To prepare for your placement exam:

Re-read: pp. 17-24, pp. 44-48, pp. 64-68, pp. 83-88, and pp. 104-110

Review: noun endings (cases), verb endings (Mickey Mouse endings and perfect endings), verb tenses (present, imperfect, perfect, pluperfect) relative pronouns (antecedents and translations), and prepositions (whether they use the ablative or the accusative case)

Part II (Translation) will be administered on Tuesday, May 24th.

Part I (Multiple Choice) will be administered on Wednesday, May 25th

 

General Information

8th Grade classes are currently learning about Roman Britain and the politics of the Roman Empire in the reign of the Emperor Domitian (AD 81-96).

Latin I classes are currently learning about daily life in Pompeii.  Stage 9 deals with the Roman baths; 10 deals with Roman education; 11 deals with the Roman political system and 12 deals with the fateful day of August 23-24, AD 79.

Latin II classes are currently in Roman Britain learning about the Roman army and assimilation of conquered cultures.
