Mrs. Larson is a third grade teacher at Woodbrook Elementary. She grew up on a dairy farm south of Muncie, Indiana. She graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Elementary Education. She received her Master's in Library and Information Science from Ball State University. She has taught three years in Decatur Township and one year in Washington Township before she had children. This will be Mrs. Larson's fourteenth year at Woodbrook, after teaching the 2/3 Gifted and Talented Class for five years and third grade for eight years.
Mrs. Larson and her husband, Mike, have three children. Matthew, their son, graduated from Purdue and lives in Houston with his wife. Their middle child, Beth, will begin her second year of graduate school studying Physical Therapy at the University of Indianapolis , and their youngest daughter, Julie, is a junior at the University of Indianapolis studying Occupational Therapy. Mrs. Larson enjoys walking, reading, gardening and spending time with her family whenever she has a free moment.
