Welcome! So glad you are here and interested in learning more about me. I am certainly excited to learn more about you and your family this school year!
I am originally from Muncie, IN and am a true Hoosier at heart. I have a wonderful family of which I am very proud. My husband, Jeremy, is an elementary school principal in Kokomo so we have a fun time sharing "school" stories each day! I have two sons, Jaxon who is 8 and Nash who is 3, and a daughter, Hope who is 7 months old. Jaxon begins 4th grade at Cherry Tree this year. We live in Noblesville and enjoy playing outside together and eating homemade ice cream :).
I graduated from Butler University in 2001 with degrees in Elementary Education and Spanish. I received my master's in school administration in 2005 from Gardner-Webb University in North Carolina. I have been teaching for 13 years, 6 of those in NC and the final 7 here in Indiana. I have taught 4th grade, 2nd grade, been an Instructional Specialist, and finally a Spanish teacher. I LOVE teaching and having fun with kids!
