Not sure what to look into for Genius Hour? Try out some of these links.

http://www.humansofnewyork.com/ A guy in NYC takes pics of people and posts their stories. Maybe start a Humans of Clay Middle School page.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sEYGHYUlKs0 This guy films cities with really unique angles and speeds up the time. It makes everything look like a toy moving at top speed. They are so, so cool! This would be "easy" to replicate at Clay or in Carmel even!

http://twistedsifter.com/2014/11/austin-light... Take a love for movies and an artist's touch and what do you get? Really funny movie illustrations for "movies" like Finding Emo!

http://www.smileysproject.com/ The guy doing this blog actually is a friend of mine from high school. He and his wife are climbing the 50 best mountains in North America, filming and photographing their successes and attempts. They've been working on it for years and still have 6 mountains to go! While you aren't going to climb any literal mountains in class, their whole idea came from wanting to climb 50 mountains recommended in a book called The 50 Classic Climbs of North America. One person had not climbed them all, so they decided to. Maybe you should build every Lego creation ever made or eat every food in the cafeteria and keep track of what happens!

http://storyofstuff.org/ Think there's too much stuff in the world? These people made videos to highlight a problem with the world and solutions to change it. What bothers you that other people should know about and how can you bring it to people's attention?

http://vimeo.com/1778399?pg=embed&sec=177... Okay so you can't go wingsuit base jumping, but the idea here is to take something where you're an expert, film it, and show others how they can try it too.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g7CRMrR24Mo In Korea, The North Face pulled a cool prank that caused people to have to take a leap of faith. While you couldn't recreate this, it's a really cool way to make people face their fears.
