Monday- Tuesday Scientific Method, Design Process and the 4 D's of Problem all explained. Discussion on how the purse project follows the design method.  (They are designer handbags!!!  Lab partners chosen (12 different partners)  Open House schedules completed. Reminder: Purple Purses due Wednesday and Thursday. 
Wednesday - Thursday Purses collected and placed in the display cabinet. Heat transfer explained and demonstrated in a lab.  Heat transfer song.

Tuesday  Get to know Team Everest Students!!!       
Wednesday   Team teachers will be discussing team expectations, creekside cash, Creekside planner usage on Team Everest, lockdown procedures...
Thursday and Friday

 Set up Science notebooks, Pass out textbooks,  What does it look like to think like a Scientist? Reduce, reuse, recycle and "repurpose" how does this help the environment?  Purple Purse Project due Wednesday and Thursday

Purse or Murse requirements: repurposed from another item, mostly purple, will hold a pair of sunglasses and 3 quarters.  These "designer" bags will be on permanent display all year,  Since we are using the design process, these are for sure designer bags.  Can't wait to be Wowed by them.
