My name is Bridget Walsh. I grew up in the Broad Ripple area on the northeast side of Indianapolis. I attended Christ the King School and Bishop Chatard High School. After high school, I attended Marian College to earn a bachelors degree in elementary education with a minor in special education. In my first five of teaching, I taught in the Indianapolis Public School system at School #11 in the Meadows area. The past 16 years of teaching have been here at College Wood as special education, second, third grade, and fifth grade. I earned my masters degree from IWU in 2003.
My husband and I celebrated fifteen years of marriage this past summer. We have been blessed with three energetic children: Katie, the eighth grader grader; Brody, the fourth; and Molly the fifth grader. My evening schedule consists of my childrens' extracurricular activities of travel soccer, softball, etc. On Sundays I volunteer at my church in their youth ministery.
