My name is Craig Dragash, and this is my 21st year teaching in the Carmel Clay Schools; 8 years at Carmel Junior High, and this is my 13th year at Clay. I teach 6th grade Wellness for TEAM TITANS!!!
I grew up in Crown Point, which is in northwest Indiana, and I attended Boone Grove High School. I am a proud graduate of Purdue University, where I majored in secondary physical education with a minor in secondary health education. I also have a Master's degree from Ball State in Athletic Administration.
I coached high school baseball for 13 years; 10 of those at Carmel High School from 1997-2006. I stopped coaching to work on my master's degree, and then I was hired to coach 8th grade baseball at Clay in 2008, and I coached here at Clay until 2014, and since I have decided to coach my son. I also work numerous athletic events at both Clay and at Carmel High School. You can find me at the scorer's bench at varsity and junior varsity girls and boys basketball games at Carmel High School where I work as the timekeeper for those games, and I am also "the voice" of the Carmel Greyhound football team, as I am the PA announcer for Friday night home games.
I am married to Denise Dragash, Media Specialist at Prairie Trace Elementary School here in Carmel. We have been married for 19 years, and we have a seven year old very active son named Vaughn. I enjoy spending time with my family, and attending sporting events. We are big fans of Purdue basketball! I am attempting to visit the stadiums of every Major League Baseball team; I currently have visited 20 of the 30 teams; my most recent being Kauffman Field in Kansas City.
