Teaching has always been a passion for me, and I am so thankful to be able to do what I love everyday. This is my first full year teaching 4th grade, but my fourth year at Carmel Elementary where I have also taught kindergarten and third grade. I absolutely love being a Carmel Elementary tiger and know you will too!
I grew up in Carmel, Indiana and attended Carmel Clay Schools. I graduated from Purdue University in the spring of 2010 with an Elementary Education degree and a Reading Specialist Endorsement. I have a passion for teaching literacy and work hard to ignite a love of reading in my students!
I live in Noblesville with my husband and our dog, Rosie. We enjoy spending lots of time outdoors hiking, gardening, and biking. In the fall we are big Purdue football fans and enjoy going to many of the home games. We also love to travel and spend time with our family and friends!
I am looking forward to getting to know my students and their families this year. Our class is a wonderful community of learners and I know we will have a great year, full of memories!
