My name is Cora McIntyre. This is my third year teaching at College Wood Elementary. I started teaching at College Wook in 2nd/3rd grade Challenge classroom with Mrs. Rachel Bancroft. This will be my second year in second grade. I received an Associates Degree and a Bachelor's Degree from Indiana University East. I received my teaching license through Indiana Weslyan University. I have also spent one school year as an instructional assistant in a Functional Academic Program classroom and prior to that I taught four years of pre-kindergarten.
I am orginally from Connersville, Indiana. My family and I moved to Hamilton County eight years ago. My husband, Trent, and I have been together for 17 years in Decemeber. We live in Fishers with our two wonderful sons, and our two dogs (Maverick, a black lab and Bailey, a boxer). Our oldest son, Tristan, will be 15 years old in November and will be a freshman this school year at Fishers High School. Our youngest son, Travis, will be 11 years old in January and entering the 5th grade this school year at Riverside Intermediate School in Fishers.
I love to spend time with my family! If I am not taking one of boys somewhere you can usually find me watching high school wrestling (my husband is a coach at HSE) or watching the Indianapolis Colts. I love to exercise and my favorite type of exercise is Zumba.
