I'm a born-and-raised Hoosier, graduate of (Ft. Wayne) Homestead HS and IU-Bloomington. I started my education career as an Instructional Assistant at Clay Middle School in 2002, and left to teach at Creekside when that building opened in 2004. I returned to Clay in 2012 to teach 7th grade Social Studies and am very happy to be "home"!
I have been married for 17 years, my wife Cathy is a counselor here at Carmel High School , and we have three kids, ages 15, 9, and 8, plus a 1 year-old Siberian Husky puppy named Kai'a.
Aside from teaching I'm an avid golfer and love spending time with my family.
My side interest is reading anything to do with WWII and the Greatest Generation, including stories of the boys that fought the War in the bombers and fighters over the European and Pacific theaters.
