This is my 15th year of teaching. I began teaching in Northeast Indiana. There I taught 5th grade and 6th grade math, science, and social studies. At Clay Middle School, I have taught 6th grade Humanities, 7th grade math and science, and 8th grade math and science. I now teach 6th grade math, and I love it!
I grew up in Columbia City, Indiana, with my parents and older brother. I attended Indiana University, graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and endorsements in Middle School Math, Science, Social Studies, and Language Arts. I received my Master's Degree in education, with a minor in child psychology, in 2007.
I enjoy movies, reading, baking cookies, and spending time with friends and family. I especially love to spend time with my husband and children. My oldest daughter (Adriana) will turn 5 in September. My son (Eric) just turned 3 in July, and my baby (Marissa) was born last November.
