Teaching here is truly a privilege, and one I will not take for granted. I'm so fortunate to be here and working with the young men and women of Clay. I'm a 1996 graduate of CHS with a degree from Purdue and a Master's from Indiana Wesleyan. I started teaching at CMS in 2001 before moving to Creekside in 2004 and returning in 2011. I couldn't be more excited to be back where I began. As an added bonus, I get to bring with me my youngest daughter, Lorelai - who will be attending Educare. My goal this year is to share my passion for reading and writing with young people. It is my hope that every child leaves my room knowing two things (hopefully more than that, but two things aside from state standards): that I cared for them and that good books do exist!
