Basic Language Arts
Basic Language Arts is designed to build on prior basic language arts skills to help students become more successful in their individual and class reading skills. Basic curriculum focuses on the Indiana Academic Standards at the ability level of each individual student. Skill development focuses on phonemic awareness, sight words, oral and silent reading, and comprehension development.
Mondays through Thursdays are spent in individual and classroom instructions. Fridays, we celebrate what we've learned through the week with content-appropriate games that build social skills in each of the students.
