This is my ninth year teaching fifth grade at Cherry Tree Elementary. I have also taught Spanish, first grade and fourth grade. Prior to coming to Cherry Tree I taught at Fox Hill Elementary in Washington Township. I am a proud graduate of Indiana University, and have completed additional coursework in Special Education, English as a New Language, and Literacy.
Although my mother and father are native Hoosiers I have lived in Ohio, New York, South Carolina, Minnesota, and Puerto Rico. My parents and brother live in Indianapolis and I love being so close to my family! I have three boys, Brad graduated from Wittenberg University and lives in Cleveland. He is married to Charlotte who is a high school social studies teacher. Christopher graduated from Purdue in May. He lives in Broad Ripple. My youngest son, Evan is a senior at Fishers High School.
I am looking forward to another great year in fifth grade!
