My name is Jeremy Stacy and I currently teach Physics here at Carmel High School. I am currently in my 10th year at Carmel and my 13th year overall. I am a graduate of Baldwin-Wallace University near Cleveland, Ohio, graduating with a physics major and mathematics minor. While at BW I was also a 4 year member of the Yellow Jacket baseball team as a catcher. I also hold a master's degree in teaching from Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana.
Before stepping into teaching, I worked for an environmental engineering firm that worked in conjunction with the EPA. Knowing that teaching and coaching was what I really had a passion for, I left the industry for the classroom and took my first teaching job at the Grand River Academy, an all boys boarding school in Ashtabula, Ohio. After a year at GRA my family and I moved closer to family so I could attend graduate school and I continued my teaching career at Hagerstown Jr./Sr. High School, followed by Cambridge City Lincoln Middle School.
Along with teaching, I also coach my daughters 14U travel softball team and own a landscaping company (J. Stacy Landscaping LLC), husband to Stephanie who teaches Spanish at the high school, and the father of 2, Madeline (Maddie) and Easton (Eman).
