My name is Kimi Fisher, and I have been teaching second grade for twenty-five years. What is even more amazing is that I have been in the exact same classroom in the same school the entire time! I feel so lucky to be a teacher at Carmel Elementary! C.E. kids rock!
I live in Cicero, Indiana, with my husband, Eric, and our two children, Kati and John. Both of my children are in their junior year of school. John is a junior at Hamilton Heights High School, and Kati is a junior at the University of Kentucky. We love to attend baseball games, swim meets, and make road trips to the University of Kentucky to visit Kati. We also love to go on vacations to the beach, go shopping, have family movie night, and go out to dinner. I don't like to cook, but I love to make chocolate chip cookies!
I grew up in Noblesville, Indiana, and attended Ball State University. I knew from the age of five that I would grow up to be a teacher some day. My favorite teacher was my second grade teacher. I hope some of my students will say the same thing about me some day!
