I was born and grew up in the small town of Kendallville, IN. I went to school at Ball State to earn a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with Kindergarten and Technology Endorsements. I did my student teaching at Forest Dale Elementary in Carmel. I have my Masters in Education with an emphasis on Reading. This is my 10th year teaching kindergarten at College Wood and 12th year teaching. I love being a Cardinal at Ball State and College Wood!!
I live in Fishers with my husband, my daughter Rosalie, my son George, and my two dogs Roxy and Cooper. Rosalie just turned four. She loves playing in the sandbox, going on bike rides, Frozen, and reading books. George is almost 2 years old now. He is a happy boy who smiles so much. He's loves all sports, especially basketball! He can't get enough of super heros (all of them!!) and also loves books. Cooper is a six year old mix of pit, lab, and boxer and is the biggest sweetheart you'll ever meet. Roxy is a 7 year old puggle who is great with the kids. I love reading mystery books, listening to music, traveling and spending time with friends and family.
I look forward to getting to know my students and their families each year. We spend so much time together we become our own family! I work hard to create a community within our classroom and hope you enjoy being a part of it!
