Digital Learning 1
Students will explore creative and innovative ways to use technology in answering questions, completing projects, solving problems, and effectively communicating those results. Students will analyze, evaluate, and use information from a variety of sources and media. Responsible and respectful digital citizenship will be demonstrated and taught when using technology. Students will demonstrate keyboarding skills, an understanding of the nature and operation of technology systems and the ability to troubleshoot when necessary.
This course follows the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) Standards. These standards can be found atwww.iste.org.

Digital Learning 2
Students will apply innovative technologies to investigate real world problems through Project Based Learning. Students will demonstrate cross-curricular applications, using the fundamentals of Digital Learning 1, through independent or collaborative exploration.
Emphasis will be placed on how effective communication and collaboration at a distance can foster global and cultural understanding.
During this nine week course, students will be provided with the opportunity to dig deeply into investigative practices using technology and 21st century skills.
