Sixth grade science is a general science class which explores different areas of the scientific world. The students will begin the year with a detailed Scientific Method unit. Scientific Method is the basis of all scientific investigation and will be used throughout the year. As the year progresses, the students will work explore other curricular units based on the Indiana Academic Core Standards: environment, introduction to matter, energy, and astronomy. Throughout the year, students will learn, practice, and master scientific process skills needed to investigate and understand the world around them.
