Woodbrook opened in the fall of 1970 as the first open concept school in Carmel clay schools. The building was extensively renovated in 1994, at over a cost of $9,000,000.00 and is now a fully handicapped accessible building with a square footage of over 95,000 square feet.
The building consists of 25 regular classrooms, 4 kindergarten suites, 2 fully functional computer labs in addition to mini computer labs in each classroom and areas specifically designed for art, music, physical education, l/d resource and a special designed area for life skills. Woodbrook classrooms are housed around a modern, full-service media center, which provides open access to all Woodbrook students throughout each day school, is in session. Woodbrook is equipped with a full service kitchen, which provides over 500 hot meals a day for staff and students.
