“Making Tracks for West Clay”

The 2018 West Clay PTO Fall Donation Drive 


“Making Tracks for West Clay” is the PTO’s annual gift campaign.  The purpose of the campaign is to raise funds to support West Clay Elementary School’s mission, which is for all students to experience excellence, explore opportunities, and realize their potential.


One of the primary objectives of the West Clay PTO is to provide our school with funds and resources that will enrich and maximize the education of every child.  To meet this important objective, the PTO organizes fundraisers throughout the year.  Prior to 2012, these fundraisers included PTO membership dues, a gift wrap sale, and an Entertainment Book sale.  During the 2011-12 school year, the PTO surveyed parents about their fundraising preferences.  Parents voted for a donation campaign to replace membership dues and the gift wrap and Entertainment Book sales.  Since the Fall of 2012, every parent has been automatically enrolled in the PTO with the enrollment of their student, and no one has been asked to sell anything!

100% of your donation will directly benefit students.  Your donation will fund:

Class Field Trips

Class Parties

Classroom Subscriptions

Teacher Classroom Funds

Guest Authors

Artist in Residence

5th Grade Recognition


And many other great events and programs!


Goal:  $24,000

The 2018 fundraising goal is $24,000.  A donation of $75 per family is suggested, but any amount is appreciated.  In the past, over 70% of WCE families have participated.  

Donation Payment Information:

Donations will be collected at the Kindergarten Orientation and the Back to School Party.  You may also send cash or a check made payable to the West Clay PTO to school with your child.  Please be sure to write your child’s name on the memo line of your check.  Credit card payment can also be via PayPal.

As a “thank you”, student recognition prizes will be awarded throughout the donation drive!
